ConnectED NY is committed to securing internet access for students across New York State. Connectivity was a primary area of focus for the Reimagine New York Commission, which developed solutions to build back better and more equitably in the wake of the COVID pandemic.
Emergency Connectivity Fund is a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program for eligible schools and libraries. The program helps offset reasonable costs of laptop and tablet computers; Wi-Fi hotspots; modems; routers; and broadband connectivity purchases for off-campus use by students, school staff, and library patrons.
E-Rate Schools & Libraries helps schools and libraries to obtain affordable broadband.
